NEW YORK MILLS, ONEIDA CO. -- A threat led to the lockdown of the New York Mills school this morning.
The threat was reported to the School Resource Officer around 10:40 a.m.
School officials immediately locked down the school while they investigated the threat.
Oneida County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene with a bomb detection K9. They found nothing suspicious and the school was re-opened about an hour later.
The investigation into the threat continues.
