SYRACUSE -- Make-a-Wish was busy planting daffodils on Saturday in East Syracuse.

The group planted 1,400 daffodil bulbs to celebrate the Central New York branch granting its 1,400 wish.  The organization hopes the initiative will expand to other areas of Central New York.

Make-a-Wish says it will have a daffodil reception in the spring to celebrate the 1,400 wish granted. The foundation grants wishes to kids with life-threatening medical problems.
