VERONA (AP) -- State police in Central New York say they're investigating a two-vehicle crash that injured six people, including a woman hospitalized for serious head and internal injuries.

Troopers say 28-year-old Amanda Trepasso of Syracuse attempted to make a U-turn at the entrance to the Turning Stone Resort Casino on Route 365 in Verona around 7:30 p.m. Saturday when her car was struck by a sport utility vehicle carrying four people.

A woman riding with Trepasso is in Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse with serious injuries. Her name hasn't been released. Troopers say Trepasso was treated at the same hospital for neck and back pain.

Police say the driver of the SUV and his three passengers were taken to the hospital in Oneida for evaluation.

Troopers say Trepasso failed to yield the right of way.
