FULTON -- A Fulton woman pepper sprayed a couple who caught her stealing from their car.

Police in Fulton say Sabrina M. Borden, 21, was reportedly found stealing items from a car and was confronted by the owners. Borden pepper sprayed the couple and displayed a knife.

Borden left the scene but was later found at her Fulton residence on Tuesday.

Police say Borden in charged with robbery, grand larceny, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, and unlawfully possessing or selling a noxious material.

She was arraigned in Fulton City Court and held on $5,000 or $10,000 bond.

The investigation is continuing and Fulton Police are asking anyone with any information contact them at 598-4504 or 598-TIPS.
