UTICA (AP) -- Closing statements are scheduled in the murder trial of 30-year-old Craig Ingersoll accused of killing Jennifer Bennett whose body was found behind a Utica fire station.

Ingersoll has been on trial in a Utica courtroom for the January 2007 slaying of 29-year-old Bennett. Prosecutors say Ingersoll strangled her after paying her for sex and then dumped her body at the Deerfield Fire Department outside Utica.

Her snow-covered body was found by a group of people sledding behind the firehouse.

Closing statements are set to begin Tuesday morning in Oneida County Court, with the jury expected to get the case later in the day.
