Syracuse Police confirmed to CNY Central on Sunday that juniors Marquis Spruill and Steve Rene were arrested early Sunday morning.

Rene was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Spruill was booked for disorderly conduct and 2nd-degree harassment.

The incident happened at the 800 block of Livingston Avenue, on the SU hill.

Spruill is a 3-year starter at linebacker for the Orange, and would figure to be a leader on defense next season.

Rene is also a junior who primarily is used to return punts and kickoffs, but also saw some time at running back last year.

It's unclear how this affects their status with the team, or the upcoming bowl game.
