MINETTO, OSWEGO CO. -- A missing 78-year-old woman from Oswego County was found dead Monday afternoon.
The woman's body was found on County Route 25 in the Town of Minetto around 12:25 p.m.
Oswego County Sheriff's deputies say the woman had been missing for a few days. Her body was found in a wooded area behind some homes.
Deputies were at a home in the town of Minetto to investigate a report of a missing woman when they were sent to another location, on Route 25, where a woman's body was found.
Investigators do not suspect foul play.
The victim's name is not being released pending notification of her family.
