FULTON -- A Fulton man is charged with raping a woman.

35-year-old Lee Andrew Johnson Jr., of Erie St., is accused of attacking the woman in July 2012.

Fulton police say Johnson punched the woman in the head, grabbed her throat and threw her to the ground. Police say he then held her on the ground, forcibly removed her clothes and raped her against her will.

Police say the woman suffered minor injuries in the attack.

Johnson is charged with rape, unlawful imprisonment, menacing and harassment.

He was arraigned in Fulton City Court and sent to the Oswego County Public Safety Center in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
