UTICA -- Chief Dean Obernesser of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center has reported that a Utica man was arrested last Friday and charged with sex abuse.
Luis Ricardo Diaz, 51, was arrested and charged with first degree sex abuse following an investigation into continuing sexual assaults that happened between 2008 and 2010.
Diaz was arraigned in the Oneida County Correctional Facility in lieu of $40,000 cash bail.
The victim has been offered counseling services through the Child Advocacy Center.
