Mickey Mouse visits Golisano Children's Hospital ahead of opening night for "Disney on Ice" in Syracuse
SYRACUSE -- Children at Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital received a special visit Wednesday afternoon.
Mickey Mouse stopped by to say hi, putting a smile on everyone's face. Mickey and his friends arrived in Syracuse Wednesday for the premiere of "Disney on Ice."
Miranda Popen, one of the performers, also visited the hospital. Popen plays Jesse from "Toy Story."
"Anyway that I can help the kids, it's already a treat that I get to help put a smile on the kids faces every time I have the show, but now I can personally do it," Popen said about the visit to Golisano.
"Disney on Ice" has performances each night through Sunday at the War Memorial in downtown Syracuse.
