Registration opened Saturday morning, thousands registered right away
The Finish Line won't come until July, but thousands are starting Boilermaker 2013 by registering for the races
Utica's boilermaker is officially open for entries, but it's not expected to stay that way long, given the rush of signups.
Maximum number of participants for the 15k race is 14,000, and by noontime over 20% of the total had registered.
The 5K race will welcome 4500 runners, and almost 10% are already registered on the first morning.
The Boilermaker will be run on Sunday, July 14th. For Utica, it's a race as well as a summertime party/social event.
