Thief steals tobacco products, loose change worth $2,600 from New Woodstock Store

NEW WOODSTOCK -- Madison County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a burglary in New Woodstock.

It happened at the New Woodstock Store at 2092 Main Street around 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Deputies say someone broke into the store and stole a large amount of tobacco products and loose change worth more than $2,600.

Anyone who was near the store between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. is asked to contact Madison County Sheriff's Investigators at (315) 366-2311. Tips will remain confidential.
