SYRACUSE -- World class ice sculptor Stanley Kolonko joined the CNYcentral morning team on ‘Today in Central New York’ Thursday morning for a live ice sculpting exhibition.

Kolonko is a former world champion ice sculptor. He’s a Syracuse native and owner of the Ice Farm in Auburn.

Not only did Kolonko turn a block of ice into an eagle in under an hour live on the air, he also brought with him a CNYcentral logo sculpture.

If you missed Kolonko's act Thursday morning you can catch him at the Skaneateles WinterFest this weekend.

25 of Kolonko's ice sculptures will be on display and he will put on a live ice carving exhibit on Saturday.

The Skaneateles WinterFest runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

On Saturday, the festivities include the popular Polar Bear Plunge, the scavenger hunt, and the Taste of Skaneateles.
