It was a game that was physical throughout, but midway through the second period the Syracuse Crunch and St. John's Icecaps had enough.
Several hits and other chippy plays were left unpoliced by the officiating crew, so the teams took it into their own hands with a huge brawl that spread from the line to a goalie fight at center ice.
Dmitry Korobov put a blistering, but legal, hit on a St. John's Icecap. St. John's took exception and more or less jumped Korobov. Naturally, his teammates came to his defense.
