LIVERPOOL, NY -- A Liverpool man was hit by a pickup truck and dragged 30 feet outside the North Medical Center in Liverpool this morning.
It happened around 8:35 a.m. in the north parking lot of the North Medical Center at 5100 West Taft Road.
Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies say a 19-year-old was driving when she hit 56-year-old Lyle Tryon of Liverpool.
Deputies say she was unaware that she hit anything, driving about 30 feet before she learned she was dragging Tryon under her car.
Tryon was taken to Upstate University Hospital with injuries that were intially believed to be non-life threatening. However, he is now in critical condition.
So far, no tickets have been issued.
