SYRACUSE -- *Update*-Since the story aired last night, Syracuse police say more people have now come forward, saying they think they’ve bought counterfeit tickets.

If you bought Syracuse University basketball tickets from Craigslist recently, you might want to double check your tickets -- they could be fake.

Police arrested Harry Levy, 26, Tuesday. He was caught selling counterfeit SU Basketball tickets to the upcoming SU vs. Georgetown game set for February 23.

So far, Syracuse Police have identified two victims. Police know of at least four more people who were affected, and expect that there are more.

The forged tickets look real, but they won't scan.

Police were tipped off when a Watertown man brought his tickets -- purchased from Levy -- to the recent Louisville game. He says his tickets never scanned.

Detectives acted as ticket buyers, and caught up with Levy at Jimmy Johns on Marshall Street.

If you think you may have been scammed by Levy, call Syracuse Police at (315) 442-5222.

They say you won't be punished for coming forward. It's not considered scalping because the tickets were purchased online.
