CENTRAL SQUARE -- New York State Police are holding a child seat clinic on Saturday, February 16 from 10am to 2pm at the Central Square Wal-Mart at 3018 East Avenue (State Route 49).

State law requires that you keep the little ones in a child restraint seat until at least their eighth birthday.

Troopers recommend that, to be as safe as possible, you should use a child seat until your kids are outside of the recommended height and weight requirements.

Seat belts alone are not designed with children in mind.
