CANANDAIGUA (AP) -- An upstate New York man who admitted embezzling more than $71,000 from a Finger Lakes civic center where he was executive director has been sentenced to from one to three years in prison.
The Canandaigua Daily Messenger reports that 49-year-old Michael Cronin of Canandaigua was sentenced Wednesday in Ontario County Court, where he'd pleaded guilty last month to second-degree grand larceny.
Cronin stole the money while he was running the Canandaigua Civic Center from December 2010 until last July.
