DUNDEE, YATES COUNTY -- A Dundee man was arrested for allegedly having sexual contact with a farm animal on private property in Yates County on Saturday.
Deputies say Ramond L. Aurthurs, 52, was arrested after an arrest warrant had been issued by the Barrington Town Court for sexual misconduct with animals and criminal trespass.
Deputies say they requested the warrant after conducting an investigation into incidents where it was alleged that Aurthurs entered private property in the Town of Barrington and made sexual contact with a farm animal.
Aurthurs is charged with sexual misconduct with animals and two counts of criminal trespass.
He was arraigned in Starkey Town Court and remanded to the Yates County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond. He is scheduled to return to Barrington Town Court in March.
