Some of the top skiiers to take to the slopes in Central New York this winter will be featured at the Aquarius Cup races on Song Mountain this weekend.  Organizers have brought in some racers from Europe.  Highly accomplished skiiers from the greater Syracuse area will also take part in the Slalom races.

Registration for the Aquarius Cup continues online through Wednesday, February 27th. The Aquarius Cup is a dual pro style slalom race with GS panels.

The race weekend benefits two charities specifically selected by race organizers.   The first is the Virtual Center for Velo-Cardio-Facial Syndrome, Inc. is a charitable open access organization of experts committed to children with velo-cardio-facial syndrome and related genetic disorders. 

The other charity is the Shamrock Animal Fund.  The Fund helps pay for veterinary care for Central New York animals that have owners with financial limitations.  The Aquarius Cup comes just three weeks before the 4th annual Shamrock's Celebration a fundraiser to benefit the fund.
