Investigators are searching for the man who robbed the M&T Bank in the Town of Clay on Monday afternoon.
It happened around 1:50 p.m. at the bank at 5170 West Taft Road.
Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies say a man entered the bank, passed a note to the teller saying he was armed with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect took off after taking an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen running on foot towards Clay Park.
No one was hurt in the incident.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 20's. He is approximately 5'7" tall and about 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a Pittsburgh Pirates hat, a black zip-up fleece jacket, black pants and black boots.
