Syracuse Police have an arrest, but are still sorting out details, and possible connected incidents, in an early morning shots fired incident.

Just before 1am Saturday morning  they were called to the 12-hundred block of South State Street, near the Burt Street highrise, with witnesses reporting a man shooting several times in front of Lois' Lounge.
Police arrestd 21 year old Landrous Hill and charged the Syracuse man with criminal possession of the handgun, which they say was stolen.

Police also found a man walking from the area with an obvious head wound, and say 30 year old Jamar Scott, was uncooperative, but they are looking into whether Hill is a suspect in that assault.   Scott is being treated at University Hospital.

Investigators say the man arrested was himself a shooting victim in Syracuse, on South Salina Street, on February 23rd.   They praise the many witnesses who came forward in this morning's incident, and credit them for the quick arrest and the recovery of the stolen handgun.
