SYRACUSE -- The Blizzard of '93 started this day 20 years ago, and hit Syracuse on March 13.

The storm was also called the Storm of The Century, The '93 Superstorm, and The White Hurricane.

43 inches of snow was dumped on the Central New York area and there were snow drifts that were up to ten feet high.

The city of Syracuse was shut down for the whole weekend.
