SYRACUSE -- CNY Central’s Wayne Mahar and Brandon Roth took to the ice at the War Memorial with Syracuse Crunch defensemen Jarid Nightingale on Thursday to help support this weekend's "Pucks for Paws" night.

The Crunch will host the third-annual "Pucks for Paws" night at the club's home game vs. Albany this Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Hockey fans who want to bring their dogs can purchase 'Pucks for Paws' tickets and sit with their dogs in the stage section of the arena.

Tickets are available for $15 for humans and $5 for dogs. All proceeds from the dog tickets will benefit the Priscilla Mahar Animal Welfare Foundation (PMAWF), which raises and distribute money to animal welfares and rescues in Central New York.  PMAWF donated more than $20,000 over the past few months.

There will be many vendors of animal goods and services at the event, and many animals up for adoption.

For more information on tickets call the Crunch ticket office at (315)-473-4444.

You can also purchase tickets at the Crunch box office located at 800 South State Street
