Several Central New York police agencies have been at the Fayetteville home of a well known professional poker player since early Tuesday evening. At least three Dewitt police cars were joined by the New York State Police outside the home of Al Krux. Dewitt Police Chief Eugene Conway tells CNYCentral the police are there as part of a drug investigation that includes more than one location.

Chief Conway said investigators have been working on the case for some time and been tracking the people involved. He would not comment about what happened this afternoon that led to the police activity at the home of Krux at 401 Salt Springs Road in Fayetteville at the corner of Redfield.  Police were also at another undisclosed location in Dewitt.

Dewitt police expect to make arrests in the case. Chief Conway says they will  not be announced until the morning.
