Police identify teenager shot and killed in Syracuse drive-by

Syracuse police have identified the the victim in a Friday night drive-by shooting as Myquan Lawrence, 18, Syracuse.

Police said he was standing outside a convenient store around 6:30 pm Friday on the 2200 block of East Fayette Street when someone opened fire from a car, then drove off.

Lawrence then stumbled across the street before collapsing by a dumpster, where an officer found him.

Syracuse Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to call them at 442-5222.

All calls will be kept confidential.
