NORTH CAROLINA -- Police in North Carolina have positively identified the body found in the car of a missing Cicero-North Syracuse High School graduate as Elizabeth Stonger.

Police in North Carolina have been looking for Elizabeth Estelle Stonger, a 2003 graduate of Cicero-North Syracuse High School, since she was reported missing in mid-October after leaving her job at Wal-Mart.

Last week, investigators found her car with a body inside it in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Police found an unidentified body wearing clothing that matched the description of Stonger, along with an indentification card belonging to Stronger.

On Tuesday, the body was identified as Stronger after an autopsy.

The cause of death hasn't been determined yet.
