SYRACUSE -- The dazzling characters of Disney are delighting local audiences in downtown Syracuse.
"Disney on Ice: 100 Years of Magic," is a Disney lovers dream come true. The ice show features characters from all the Disney classics.
Matt Grimsted, one of the shows featured skaters, says having all the of Disney's classic characters on the ice at the same time is something you have to see to believe.
"When all the characters come out at the end of the show its amazing. It's like, I can't believe they are all here in this one place. It's really cool," he says.
Grimsted, who has skated with Disney for nine years, says, "Disney on Ice: 100 Years of Magic," features so many characters in so many different costumes, and putting it all together on the ice takes a lot of planning.
"We have 3 wardrobe people to keep these costumes intact, and 47 ice skaters, and 17 crew. It is just a huge show," says Grimsted.
A huge show that he says is winning over Disney fans of all ages across the country.
"I love the audience just going up to the audience and making them smile there is nothing better," he says.
