Fayetteville fundraiser, morale builder

For six hours on Sunday, over 100 cyclists kept the stationary bikes at Fayetteville's Community Center Group Fitness Studio spinning.
The fundraiser, at Feyetteville Towne Center, is also an awareness raiser for breast cancer. Depending on their pledges, the riders could go from 8am to 3pm, with rest breaks, or could ride in teams.
The funds raised go to the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure, and the Stupid Dumb Breast Cancer group, founded last year by Ann Marie Giannino-Otis' to promote awareness, early detection, and advocacy, with a special focus on how the disease impacts younger people.
