Police investigate East Syracuse bank robbery

Update: DeWitt Police release photos of the two suspects

EAST SYRACUSE -- The Dewitt Police are investigating a bank robbery that happened on Monday at 5:20 PM at the Chase bank on the corner of Court Street Road and North Midler Avenue in East Syracuse, according to Chief of Police Eugene J. Conway in a news release.

According to the release, two white men entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money.

After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspects left the bank and got into a light colored SUV and fled eastbound on Court Street Road.

No weapon was shown and nobody was hurt.

The first suspect is a white man, about five-feet-ten-inches tall, in his mid to late-twenties with a medium build. 

The second is also a white man and has a similar build.
