The Cayuga County Sheriff's Office says Robert Spano, 50, was killed in a motorcycle crash in the Town of Montezuma on Friday afternoon. The accident happened around 4:30 pm on State Route 31 at East Loop Road. Spano was taken to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead later that night. His passenger was also taken to the hospital for treatment.
