ONEIDA, MADISON COUNTY (AP) -- Troopers with a dog followed four snowball throwers from the Thruway to a nearby mobile home park in Central New York and now the four are headed to court.

According to State Police Lucas H. Joslyn, 18, and Robert H. Hopkins, 17, of Oneida, are charged with reckless endangerment and criminal trespass, both misdemeanors.

Two juveniles were issued Family Court appearance tickets.

Police say the four were seen throwing snowballs at eastbound cars near mile marker 256 of the Thruway in the city of Oneida on Saturday. When a police car pulled up, the four ran from the scene and into a nearby trailer park.

A dog was brought in and tracked them to a trailer.

No cars were damaged.
