SYRACUSE -- Travelers flying out of Syracuse's Hancock International Airport for the Thanksgiving holiday are being urged to arrive early and allow plenty of time for processing and security procedures.

According to Commissioner of Aviation Anthony Mancuso, "We realize that the Thanksgiving holiday travel period is one of the busiest travel seasons. We encourage all travelers to allow for enough time to park vehicles and process through security. As always, travelers should contact their airline or travel agent to confirm their travel arrangements prior to leaving for the Airport."

Travelers with questions about security procedures or anyone who would like travel tips, is asked to contact the Transportation Security Administration at (866) 289-9673 or visit their website.

For other airport information, you can visit the Syracuse Hancock International Airport website.
