SYRACUSE -- The organizers of the Syracuse Jazz Fest have just booked the headliner for next summer’s festival. He happens to be the man behind one of the all time best selling holiday music c-d’s. The headliner will be Kenny ‘G’.
Last June Jazz Fest was once again one of the cultural hits of the summer when artists like Sergio Mendes and Chaka Kahn entertained tens of thousands on the campus of Onondaga Community college. This year the festival will return to the campus of O-C-C.
It is scheduled for the weekend of June 26th. Kenny G. Will be the headliner of the weekend. The rest of the talent is still being scheduled as sponsors get lined up. W-STM, NBC3 is proud to be the television sponsor of Jazz Fest again this year.
