family science adventure is free
This Saturday, students can do hands on 'fun' projects that teach science fundamentals. Parents and educators can learn about projects that encourage high tech (and high paying) jobs. It's called Family Science Adventure, and its at Syracuse's MOST this Saturday.
Mary Eileen Wood, who coordinates the March science fair, says it's a way to explore projects, but also to learn how to do basic science, without being in a high tech, expensive lab.
The program is free, but you must sign up at 468-1025 or email Wood at TRSEF@verizon.net by Friday.
Students in grades 5 - 9, parents and educators are welcome.
