NEW HAVEN -- A teenager is now facing manslaughter charges in connection with a fatal car crash.

The Oswego County Sheriff's Office says 18-year-old Kori Gushlaw of Craw Road in Mexico was drunk when she lost control of her car and hit a tree on West Stone Road in New Haven back in November 2008. 20-year-old Shane Hammond was killed in the crash.

Gushlaw has been charged with felony second degree manslaughter, felony second degree vehicular manslaughter, driving while intoxicated, speeding, failure to keep right, and a seat belt violation.

Alexander Naugle has already been charged in connection with the crash. Police say he provided the alcohol.

Gushlaw was arraigned Thursday night in the Town of New Haven Court and is being held in the Oswego County Jail on $1,000 cash bail or $5,000 bond. She is due back in court on April 2.
