2:00 am Update:
The Cayuga County Sheriff's Department says Andrew Taber has been found. According to the Sheriff's Department, the missing 12-year-old was found by his father at Aqueduct Park on Route 31 in Weedsport.
Andrew is being treated for exposure to the elements.

State Police confirm a child is missing in Cayuga County. The Port Byron School District sent out a message Tuesday night alerting people about Andrew Taber. The superintendent tells us Taber is a sixth grader in the district.
Taber was last seen wearing a white sweatshirt, blue jeans, and work boots.
He told his some of his friends he might run away, then didn't come home on the afternoon school bus.
A search started at about 6:00pm Tuesday evening. It is still an active search as of 10:00pm. If you have any information about Taber's whereabouts, you're asked to call 911.

Sheriff David Gould reports the Cayuga County Sheriff's Office is currently searching for a missing 12 year old child. The child's name is Andrew Taber, white male, 5'0" tall approximately 95 lbs, brown eyes and short sandy brown hair. The child ran away this afternoon and was last seen on Green Street in the Village of Port Byron where he resides. Taber made comments to friends about wanting to make his way to Georgia to visit relatives. Taber is considered missing/endangered due to these comments. Taber was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white hooded sweatshirt and work-boots. Taber may be walking the roads attempting to make his way to Syracuse.
