Another rally against Governor Paterson's plan to legalize the sale of wine in supermarkets and convenience stores.
The "Last Store on Main Street Coalition", joined with some law enforcement officers and advocates, committed to reducing drunk driving and underage drinking and to send a message to law makers.
They claim policing drinking is, already, a tough job and the law change would be a mistake. The Coalition says the law would, also, close more than 1,000 small businesses. Governor Paterson says the law could bring in $100 million to the State during a desperate economic time.
