An update on Syracuse politics. Common Council President, Bea Gonzalez, has pulled out of the mayor's race. She says caring for her older family members in Puerto Rico is just too much while campaigning. But, she's not closing the door on a run this year.
Gonzalez says she'll talk to the other candidates and see if they support some issues she feels strongly about, including renovating Blodgett School. And, if her family situation changes, she might get back in later this year.
