Empty Bowls fundraiser planned
Potters and other artists from around the community have created hundres of earthernware bowls as part of this year's 'Empty Bowls' fundraiser for the Interreligious Food Consortium. Michelle Jordan, IFC Executive Director, says you can buy the bowls and fill them with soup at a food pantry benefit next Saturday and DeWitt's May Memorial Churc (1 - 6pm). Proceeds of the $10 donations go to re-stocking shelves of 70 pantries and soup kitchens served by IFC.
