MARCY, ONEIDA COUNTY -- Administrators at the State University of New York Institute of Technology in Marcy alerted students and staff that a prospective student who toured the campus Friday attended the New York City High School where 28 cases of swine flu have been confirmed. SUNY IT officials say the student was not sick.

The St. Francis High School student was one of 32 students from New York City that were bused to the campus. A college spokesman says the e-mail was sent to the campus community as a precaution.

They college has had no reports of any illnesses.

In Cortland, the Cortland County Health Department says its now awaiting test results from two possible cases of swine flu. Officials say they are also investigating a third case that's unrelated to the other two to see if it meets the definition. They are expecting to have an update on the situation by the end of the day.

The Cortland County Health Department is asking people to stay home if they have flu like symptoms. If people feel they need medical attention they should contact their physician.
