State Police say he was not wearing helmet
A Kirkville man was airlifted from Oswego County to University Hospital, after his ATV swerved and rolled over early Sunday morning. State Police tell Action news that 58 year old Douglas Brownell, from Black Creek Road in Kirkville, was riding on Route 39 in Redfield about 1:30 this morning when it happened. They say he was not wearing a helmet. Brownell was reported unresponsive when rescue crews arrived, but is now in serious condition at University Hospital.
