UTICA, ONEIDA COUNTY -- A popular summertime tradition is back tonight, but with a few changes.

Saranac Thursdays return, one year after a fire did major damage to The F.X. Matt brewery in Utica. It was at the first Saranac Thursday last year when fire broke out in the canning line section of the brewery. The flames caused $10 million worth of damage. That section of the brewery is being renovated and it should be done in the next few weeks.

In the meantime, the brewery is actually expanding in other areas. Workers say the fire gave them a chance to restructure.

Another thing will be different this year. Saranac Thursdays will run a little later, from 5:30 - 8:30 PM each Thursday, for the next 13 weeks.
