LIVERPOOL -- The Bill Leaf Memorial Kickball Tournament has been held every year since 2006. It is in memory of a local reporter killed by a drunk driver.
The tournament was held at Onondaga Lake Park Saturdaty. It raises money for the Bill Leaf Memorial Scholarship and the Samantha Reynolds Memorial Scholarship funds.
14-year old Samantha Reynolds was killed last year by a drunk driver. It happened while the Liverpool teen and her family were on their way to Disney World.
Bill Leaf was 25-years old when he was killed by a drunk driver on Interstate 81 in Syracuse in January of 2006. He was a local radio and television reporter.
