City schedules meetings on franchise
The cable TV franchise in Syracuse is up for renewal, and the city has focus groups to get public comment on service and services, as it decides between Time-Warner and Verizon's bid for the contract.
The hearings are all open to the public:

Monday 6:30 - 7:30pm, Westcott Community Center, 826 Euclid Ave
~primarily for Nonprofit, Civic, Community and Faith-based Organizations
Tuesday 10am - noon, Central Library Curtin Auditorium, 447 South Salina St
~primarily for Higher Education, Health Institutions and Businesses
Tuesday, 6:30 - 8:30pm, Dunbar Community Center, 1453 South State Street
~primarily for Neighborhood, Civic and Community Action Organizations
Thursday, 10am - noon, Central Library Curtin Auditorium, 447 South Salina St
~primarily for Arts/Culture/Heritage Organizations
Thursday 4 - 6pm, SUNY Oswego Metro Center, 2 Clinton Square
~primarily for Local Government Departments and k-12 Educational
