Syracuse area donations up, so is need
As the United Way campaign for the Syracuse area is at its midpoint, the good news is that initial donations are up. However, Executive Director Frank Lazarski is concerned because of increased demands for services, and funds. In a Central New York in Focus interview, he points out that companies that were contributors are no longer in business, and that many workers are taking lower paying jobs, and so need help.
