Two local cheerleading squads are looking for help to get to the national championships. Both the Cicero and Fayetteville-Manlius cheerleading teams have qualified for the national championships being held next week in Orlando, Florida at Disney World.
Both teams need $40,000 dollars to make the trip and will not be able to go if it is not raised by December 2nd. Coach Ali Dunham says they are hoping a last minute sponsor will step up and help make the girls dream come true. " These girls have worked so hard for this and I would really hate to tell them that we can't go because we don't have enough donations," she says.
The F-M squad is holding a fundraiser Thursday night at Trappers in East Syracuse.
