LYNCOURT, ONONDAGA COUNTY -- Three people are recovering after a case of carbon monoxide poisoning in Lyncourt.

Around 7:30 Wednesday morning, firefighters responded to a home at 301 Wayland Drive and discovered three people unconscious inside the house. The individuals were removed from the home and revived by emergency personnel.

Firefighters then went back into the house and used meters to discover high levels of carbon monoxide inside. An investigation has revealed that the carbon monoxide came from an improperly vented furnace. National Grid was called in to handle the faulty furnace.

Two of the victims were transported to a local hospital for observation. Their names have not been released, but they are expected to be all right.
