SYRACUSE -- Work on the WTVH tower has been completed, and the station's broadcast signal is back on the air.

Original Story:

The digital broadcast signal for WTVH CBS-5 is currently off the air because of maintenance work which is underway on the station's transmitter tower.  To keep the tower crews safe, the transmitter will remain powered off until the work is completed.

The outage affects viewers who receive WTVH via over-the-air digital television or satellite. Cable TV subscribers are not affected by the outage.

Work is expected to be completed by sunset, around 4:30 p.m.
