The Syracuse Convention & Visitors Bureau has debuted an online gift shop, one of the few merchandise portals of its kind among national bureaus of its size.
The shop is selling 10 items with Syracuse flair, but Communications Manager Danica Bryant says there are plans to sell more Syracuse products the site in the near future. The products were created in response to a demand for Syracuse-unique products.
With a click of the mouse, holiday shoppers can purchase a variety of affordable merchandise. Embroidered T-shirts, tote bags and fleece blankets are among the items available, all adorned with a vibrant Syracuse, NY logo.
The bureau collaborated with Landmark Graphics to create and ship the Syracuse-unique products.
"We anticipate a high demand for our products and plan on adding a wider selection of merchandise to the shop in the future," David Holder, Syracuse Convention & Vistors Bureau President, said.
The store's products range in price from $15.99 for an adult T-shirt to $48.99 for a zip-up fleece jacket.
